Dr Paul Kazmer has practiced dentistry in North Carolina for 14 years. Prior to opening his solo Periodontal/Implant Dentistry practice in 1999, he practiced general dentistry for 3 years in Chapel Hill, NC. He is very excited to be celebrating our practice's 11th anniversary this year!
Dr Kazmer is a Graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, in Boston, MA, where he earned his Dental Degree (DMD). In addition, Dr Kazmer is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his graduate (MS) dental degree in Periodontics and Dental Implantology. His graduate thesis and area of research has been in 3-D imaging and radiology for implant dentistry.
Dr Kazmer is an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, our office also serves as a rotation site for UNC and Wake Tech Community Colleges dental programs. We are proud to assist in training the future of dentistry!
Dr Kazmer is a member of The American Academy of Periodontology, The North Carolina Society of Periodontics, The North American Society of Periodontics, The American Dental Association, The North Carolina Dental Society, and Past-President of the Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society.
Dr Kazmer serves as a Sedation Permit Evaluator for the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners
Dr Kazmer was recently presented with a "Milestone Achievement Award" recognizing 2000 dental implants placed.
Personal
Dr Kazmer has been married to his wife Janet, for 16 years; they have four young children and two Golden Retrievers and have made Cary home for over 11 years.
Dr Kazmer was born and raised in Guilderland NY (Albany County)
His personal interests include Skiing, boating, travel, SCUBA diving (wreck diving and spearfishing), and anything "adventurous".
